Vietnam War patches
For re-enactors, living historians,
veterans and collectors
I've always enjoyed American military history and
collecting US military insignia. I started embroidering and
replicating my own patches waaaaay back in junior high. My
mom, bless her patience, tolerated (and footed the bill) for my
tearing up her Singer sewing machine on many occasions as
    I honed my skill.

My senior year of high school I enlisted in the Army
Reserves and served as a medic for almost twelve years,
earning an EFMB, AAM and Army Commendation medals. I
was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant.

During my stint in the Reserves I attended college for visual
arts and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I also
began  WW2 re-enacting and was hooked forever on living
history and became a stickler for being as authentic as I
    could be.

Over the past several years I had become involved in
Vietnam re-enacting and living history. This is when I started
replicating 'Nam era patches. The demand for my wares has
increased substantially and I've finally put up a web site to
    accommodate interest.

You've probably noticed a slight dog theme to this site. I
love German shepherds as well as all dogs! I re-enact a dog-
man team of the 49th IPSD (infantry platoon scout dog) with
my baby, Heidi. We have attended re-enactments and public
military history displays as part of the 199th Light Infantry
Brigade re-enactors in my area. Great unit!!!

My thanks and gratitude to all Vietnam dog handlers and
dogs, and all civilian and military working dog handlers and
    their K-9 partners!
